Teen 8 Hour Re- Examination

The 8-hour Re- Examination classroom course is conducted in office during business hours and is required by the DMV after three failed attempts on the Learner’s Permit knowledge test. Upon completion, a Re-Examination certificate is issued and must be presented at the DMV to retake the written knowledge test.

Required Documentation:

Valid identification (Passport, Green Card, Tax ID, or Real ID)

Students under 18 must provide a Driver’s Education completion certificate

Students without Driver’s Education must first complete a state-approved Driver’s Education course. After completion, the Re-Examination may be taken through this program, obtained through a high school, or completed after reaching 18 years of age.
